Congratulations Volunteers of the Year!

PicMonkey CollageThe Woodlands Township Board of Directors honored more than 200 volunteers at a special Volunteer Recognition event on January 27, 2016, including Volunteer of the Year awards for The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch and other Township departments.

Congratulations to this year’s award recipients for The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch – Jennifer Key, Cheryl Brogan and Jennifer Maloof!

All volunteered to be the first Watch Member Coordinators of the East Shore neighborhood and have done a fantastic job getting the Watch organized. Working together, they have been busy recruiting new Watch Coordinators, attending all of the East Shore events hosted including two years of National Night Out parties, 2015 Dog Walker Watch event, 2015 Crawfish Boil, Watch Meeting Luncheon, Neighborhood Watch Meetings (hosted by other Coordinators, giving them support), and encouraging their neighbors to be a part of the Neighborhood Watch program.

This team understands what The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch program is all about and have embraced our goals of helping to keep our neighborhoods safe. Congratulations to these wonderful Coordinators on a job well done!
