#WatchTalk: Prescription Drugs


Prescription drug abuse is a serious public health problem around the world.  Swing by Town Hall on September 28, 2016, for the next Watch Talk Wednesday presentation to learn how local law enforcement officials are helping to prevent it.

Did You Know? Statistics reveal that an estimated 52 million people (20% of those aged 12 and older) have used prescription drugs for nonmedical reasons at least once in their lifetimes. – National Institute on Drug Abuse

Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney, Bradlee Thornton, will discuss an overview of problems communities face with prescription drugs, including illicit acts on behalf of drug companies, pharmacies, doctors, doctor shoppers, drug sellers and users.
