The Woodlands Township recently hosted the annual Public Safety Awards and honored 26 public safety personnel for going the extra mile to make The Woodlands a safe community.

With hundreds of people in attendance, including honorees, guests, and community leaders, the event paid tribute to 26 individuals in public safety from The Woodlands Fire Department, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the Montgomery County Hospital District, the Montgomery County Constable’s Office, Precinct 3, and Harris County Constable’s Office, Precinct 4. Each honoree was chosen by their respective department for exemplary service and dedication to public safety.

“Every one of these individuals ensures the safety and security of residents and visitors of The Woodlands,” said The Woodlands Township Board Secretary Dr. Ann Snyder, who served as emcee for the event. “We commend them for going the extra mile in making The Woodlands a safer community.”
